Record #211041:
Automatic controls for the carbon fiber tape-based deicing technology / Mithun Singla, and 4 others.
Title: | Automatic controls for the carbon fiber tape-based deicing technology / Mithun Singla, and 4 others. |
Author(s): | Singla, Mithun. |
Date: | 2014. |
In: | Journal of Cold Regions Engineering. (2014.), Vol. 28(1) (2014) |
Abstract: | Describes design of automatic controllers and analysis of their efficiency as applied in carbon fibre tape-based resistive heating deicing technology. On-off controller and fuzzy logic-based controller are implemented in experimental deicing facility, latter being most efficient, and representing significant technical advance for road and pavement surface deicing. |
