| Abstract: | Reconstructs mean January air temperatures for period of 20-18 ka BP in Siberia based on δ¹⁸O analysis and ¹⁴C dating of large syngenetic ice wedges. Uses data from 21 sequences of yedoma (ice-rich syngenetic permafrost), and results from published literature to define precise chronology of yedoma and ice wedges in Siberia. |
