Abstract: | Presents results of investigations into radial growth of Larix cajendri Mayr and Pinus sylvestris L.. Based on comparative dendrochronological studies using tree-ring data from Lena-Amga interfluve in Central Sakha (Yakutiya) spanning period 1900-2005 and meteorological data from research stations near Yakutsk. Establishes close relationship between tree radial increment and climatic factors, and hydrological and thermal conditions of soil. Reports first to show correlation between ground temperature and humidity at different depths with radial growth. |
