Abstract: | Discusses applicability of Stefan problem solutions for permafrost dynamics modelling, using Tsytovich principle of water and ice equilibrium state in frozen soils. Examines dynamics of equilibrium state in saline soil using data from Yamal Peninsula and Laptev Sea shelf, and draws conclusions about state of cryopeg and changes in permafrost on shelf flooded by sea. |
