Abstract: Investigates mite fauna of patches of High Arctic moss-grass tundra in Petuniabukta, Billefjord and Adventfjord, Spitsbergen. Observes that oribatid mites are distinctly more abundant and richer in species than gamasid mites, and their density and diversity varies between vegetation and location.
