Abstract: Reports that Chinese icebreaker R/V Xue Long became first ship from China to complete crossing of entire Northeast Passage. Xue Long started its trans-Arctic voyage from Bering Strait, arrived in Iceland after traversing Northeast Passage, then returned to Bering Strait through high latitude Arctic Passage, thus completing round-trip journey across Arctic Ocean.
