Record #210341:
Can toothfish catches be used to predict the presence of vulnerable benthic invertebrate taxa? / S.J. Parker, M.H. Smith.
Title: | Can toothfish catches be used to predict the presence of vulnerable benthic invertebrate taxa? / S.J. Parker, M.H. Smith. |
Author(s): | Parker, S. J. Smith, M. H. |
Date: | 2011. |
In: | CCAMLR Science. (2011.), Vol. 18 (2011) |
Abstract: | Uses data collected in 2010 by observers on New Zealand vessels from Ross Sea longline fisheries for Antarctic toothfish, Dissostichus mawsoni, to assess whether toothfish catch is correlated with presence of individual vulnerable marine ecosystem taxa. Such correlation would imply greater impacts from fishing. |
