Title: Innis, Biss, and industrial circuitry in the Canadian North, 1921-1965 / Liza Piper.
Author(s): Piper, Liza.
Date: 2013.
Publisher: Montreal: McGill-Queen's University
In: Harold Innis and the North : appraisals and contestations. (2013.),
Abstract: Compares travels of Harold Innis in northern Canada with those of his doctoral student and junior colleague Irene Biss, who visited various sites in North during summer of 1935, conducting research on hydro-electric power and energy.
