Record #209919:

The distribution and composition of suspended particles in the Chukchi Sea / Weiguo Wang, and 4 others.

Title: The distribution and composition of suspended particles in the Chukchi Sea / Weiguo Wang, and 4 others.
Author(s): Wang, Weiguo.
Date: 2014.
Language: Chinese.
In: Chinese Journal of Polar Research. (2014.), Vol. 26(1) (2014)
Abstract: Investigates content and composition of suspended particles (SP) in samples obtained in Chukchi Sea during fourth Chinese Arctic Research Expedition (2010) with aim of understanding distribution and origin of suspended matter. Results show that SP content is lowest in central Chukchi Sea and highest in middle and bottom water column of southern and central northern Chukchi Sea. Content along Alaskan coast and in Barrow Canyon is relatively higher, and is mainly composed of bio-skeletal clasts.
Notes:
