| Abstract: | Briefly reports on "Fimbulisen top to bottom" project in which oceanic and glaciological observations at Fimbulisen Ice Shelf, Dronning Maud Land, to determine changes in mass balance of ice shelf. Assesses surface accumulation using stakes, snow cores and ground penetrating radar, and compares with satellite derived measurements. Shows interannual variability between 2009-11. |
