Record #209755:

Recent accumulation variability in northwest Greenland from ground-penetrating radar and shallow cores along the Greenland Inland Traverse / Robert L. Hawley, and 6 others.

Title: Recent accumulation variability in northwest Greenland from ground-penetrating radar and shallow cores along the Greenland Inland Traverse / Robert L. Hawley, and 6 others.
Author(s): Hawley, Robert L.
Date: 2014.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (2014.), Vol. 60(220) (2014)
Abstract: Describes use of 400 MHz ground-penetrating radar along route of Greenland Inland Traverse from Thule to Summit during April and May 2011 to identify continuous internal reflecting horizons, which were then dated with ice core chemistry at both ends of traverse. Uses this information to assess accumulation, demonstrating increase in past 52 years along traverse route.
