Record #209752:

Subglacial hydrological connectivity within the Byrd Glacier catchment, East Antarctica / A.P. Wright, and 6 others.

Title: Subglacial hydrological connectivity within the Byrd Glacier catchment, East Antarctica / A.P. Wright, and 6 others.
Author(s): Wright, A. P.
Date: 2014.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (2014.), Vol. 60(220) (2014)
Abstract: Presents data from new radio-echo sounding survey to seek pooled basal water at locations within Byrd Glacier catchment, Antarctica, where rapid ice-surface height changes identified by Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite have been interpreted as evidence for active subglacial lakes. Hypothesised lakes were not found, though subglacial lakes were identified at other sites.
