Title: Evaluation of existing and new methods of tracking glacier terminus change / James M. Lea, Douglas W.F. Mair, Brice R. Rea.
Author(s): Lea, James M.
Mair, Douglas W. F.
Rea, Brice R.
Date: 2014.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (2014.), Vol. 60(220) (2014)
Abstract: Evaluates three existing methodologies (centre-line, bow and box methods) that have been widely used to track glacier terminus change, and compares to idealised glaciological scenarios and six examples of real glaciers. Also assesses two new methodologies: curvilinear box method, and extrapolated centre-line method.
