Abstract: Uses airborne laser altimetry, 1957 US Geological Survey maps and satellite stereo imagery to estimate mass-balance change rate of Wrangell mountains glacier complex, Alaska, USA, between 1957, 2000, and 2007. Also tests whether centre-line laser profiling of three glaciers can correctly capture glacier-wide and regional mass-balance change rates.
