Record #209377:

Interannual bottom pressure signals in the Australian-Antarctic and Bellingshausen basins / Rui M. Ponte, Christopher G. Piecuch.

Title: Interannual bottom pressure signals in the Australian-Antarctic and Bellingshausen basins / Rui M. Ponte, Christopher G. Piecuch.
Author(s): Ponte, Rui M.
Piecuch, Christopher G.
Date: 2014.
In: Journal of Physical Oceanography. (2014.), Vol. 44(5) (2014)
Abstract: Examines interannual ocean bottom pressure signals in Australian-Antarctic and Bellingshausen basins in context of overall ocean bottom pressure variability in Southern Ocean, using data from Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) and Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean (ECCO) 20 year state estimate. Describes method, comparison of GRACE and ECCO fields, and dynamics responsible for enhanced ocean bottom pressure variability.
