Abstract: | Combines remote sensing and GIS technology to map and reconstruct area and volume changes of Nam Co Lake, Nyainqentanglha range, Tibetan Plateau, from 2003-09. Correlates rise in water level with negative glacier mass balance in mountains, and assesses percentage contribution of glacial meltwater to lake water volume. |
