Abstract: | Examines topographic and geometric controls on glacier changes in area and equilibrium-line altitude in central Tien Shan, China, since Little Ice Age, using satellite imagery in Google Earth. Analyses relationship between magnitude of change and local factors including glacier area, slope, aspect, shape, hypsometry, and mean elevation. |
