Abstract: | Describes surface energy budget experiment conducted to quantify surface energy fluxes and identify factors affecting glacial melt in the ablation zone of Laohugou glacier No. 12, western Qilian mountains, China. Surface energy budget was calculated based on data from automatic weather station. Turbulent fluxes calculated using bulk-aerodynamic method were corrected by observations from eddy-covariance system, and simulation of surface energy balance was validated with ablation data. |
