Abstract: Presents summary of observations of birds and mammals on Prince Leopold Island, Nunavut, together with account of weather conditions recorded on site and at locations nearby. Assesses changes to bird and mammal communities of island, particularly ivory gull (Pagophila eburnea), regular visitor in 1970s but not seen since 2003, and peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus), not seen in 1970s but seen frequently since 2000.
