Record #208255:

Dependence of ice-core relative trace-element concentration on acidification / Bess G. Koffman, and 4 others.

Title: Dependence of ice-core relative trace-element concentration on acidification / Bess G. Koffman, and 4 others.
Author(s): Koffman, Bess G.
Date: 2014.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (2014.), Vol. 60(219) (2014)
Abstract: Examines effect of methodological differences on measuring trace-element concentrations in ice cores, using technique to test effects of acidification strength and time on dust dissolution in snow samples collected in West Antarctica and Alaska. Uses nitric acid at varying strengths and for varying periods of leaching to demonstrate different outcomes.
