Abstract: | Reports use of salinity and temperature profiles obtained from drifting ice-tethered profilers in Beaufort gyre region of Canada Basin to characterise and quantify regional near-inertial wave field from September 2006-September 2007. Quantitatively investigates characteristics and variability of wave field and relates to changes in surface wind forcing and ice cover. |
