| Abstract: | Study of ablation of Waldemar and Irene glaciers, Spitsbergen, during July and September 2001 and 2003. Measurements were taken each year at five-day intervals from 30 points on Waldemar and 10 points on Irene. Relationship between ablation timing and temperature variability was observed during all analysed seasons. |
