Record #207022:

Offshore transport of dense water from the East Greenland Shelf / B.E. Harden, R.S. Pickart, I.A. Renfrew.

Title: Offshore transport of dense water from the East Greenland Shelf / B.E. Harden, R.S. Pickart, I.A. Renfrew.
Author(s): Harden, B. E.
Pickart, R. S.
Renfrew, I. A.
Date: 2014.
In: Journal of Physical Oceanography. (2014.), Vol. 44(1) (2014)
Abstract: Investigates mechanisms by which dense water is transported southward from East Greenland Shelf. Presents evidence for two external forcing factors that are thought to induce spilling of dense shelf water. Analyses spilling events to attempt to determine relative importance of forcing mechanisms, including degree to which they act in concert with one another.
