Abstract: Presents atmospheric temperatures and albedo of Greenland Ice Sheet from initiation of Programme for Monitoring of the Greenland Ice Sheet (PROMICE) in 2007 to 2012 and examines relationship between them, to elucidate melt-albedo feedback hypothesis that increased melt darkens ice sheet and further enhances melt.
