| Abstract: | Analyses place and role of spiritual healing in doctrines and practices of Evangelical Christians whose organisations are registered in Tyumen region of Siberia. Examines idea that cure is posited as doctrine, which differentiates them from other religious organisations. Notes that doctrine emphasises cure, that allows for spiritual healing, for example, laying on of hands, while sanctioning official and some folk medicine but prohibits magical/mystical components of folk medicine. |
