Abstract: Reports results of systematic boat-based surveys of distribution and abundance of marine birds in Yakutat Bay (Gulf of Alaska) and adjacent fjords in June 2009. Identifies locations and intensities of shipping traffic that could be potential source of disturbance to birds. Assesses vulnerability of species of concern to this potential threat.
