| Abstract: | Describes buildings constructed on surface-ventilated envelope foundations in Igarka, Krasnoyarsk Region, including construction dates, design concepts, and structural deformation. Presents results of study monitoring soils, foundations, and supporting structures, to determine cause of deformation. At Igarka Geocryology Lab these included ground temperature measurements in boreholes along building perimeter; vertical movement observations; and snow depth measurements. |
