Hedman, Sven-Donald.
Olsen, Bjørnar.

Publisher: Oxford: Berghahn
In: About the hearth : perspectives on the home, hearth and household in the circumpolar North. (2013.),
Abstract: Reports on archaeology of Saami hearth row sites from late Iron Age and early Medieval periods in northern Norway and Finland. Notes discovery of late Iron Age rectangular hearths arranged in linear fashion, which challenges conventional opinion that Saami hearths of this period were always round and indicative of static, primitive simplicity.
