Record #205553:

Characteristics of effective thermal efficiency for hydronic bridge-road heating / Takako Tanaka, and 3 others.

Title: Characteristics of effective thermal efficiency for hydronic bridge-road heating / Takako Tanaka, and 3 others.
Author(s): Tanaka, Takako.
Date: 2013.
In: Journal of Snow Engineering of Japan. (2013.), Vol. 29(1) (2013)
Abstract: Describes hydronic bridge-road heating model consisting of surface course, base course containing heat-carrier fluid passages, and concrete slab, and proposes heat transfer model for this. Compares mathematical model predictions with observed temperature profiles in road model and discusses factors influencing effective thermal efficiency.
