Record #205487:
Modeling Arctic Intermediate Water: the effects of Neptune parameterization and horizontal resolution / Xiang Li, and 3 others.
Title: | Modeling Arctic Intermediate Water: the effects of Neptune parameterization and horizontal resolution / Xiang Li, and 3 others. |
Author(s): | Li, Xiang. |
Date: | 2013. |
In: | Advances in Polar Science. (2013.), Vol. 24(2) (2013) |
Abstract: | Report on use of coupled ice-ocean model to conduct sensitivity experiments on Arctic Intermediate Water (AIW), based on Neptune parameterisation and horizontal resolution. Concludes that heat output from Fram Strait is main factor in successfully reproducing AIW in western Eurasian Basin. |
Notes: | Advances in Polar Science. Vol. 24(2) :98-105 (2013). |
Keywords: | 519.673 -- Modelling. 551.46 -- Oceanography, physical. 551.463.6 -- Sea water, thermal properties and heat flux. C -- Oceanography, hydrography and hydrology. (*3) -- Arctic regions. (*60) -- Arctic Ocean and adjacent waters. (*61) -- North Atlantic Ocean. (*617) -- Greenland Sea and Fram Strait. (*686) -- Barents Sea. |
