Abstract: Investigates current nursing practice in Greenland and discusses whether it meets requirements of Greenlandic Health Reform (2010). Finds that nature of nursing practice in rural and remote Greenland is characterised by high degree of variability and complexity, with requirement for wide range of knowledge and skills. Nurses need to be prepared for acute medical care, preventative care, social work and information technology if they are to implement government health reform.
