Record #204902:

Tobacco use prevalence: disentangling associations between Alaska Native race, low socio-economic status and rural disparities / Julia A. Dilley, and 4 others.

Title: Tobacco use prevalence: disentangling associations between Alaska Native race, low socio-economic status and rural disparities / Julia A. Dilley, and 4 others.
Author(s): Dilley, Julia A.
Date: 2013.
In: International Journal of Circumpolar Health. (2013.), Vol. 72(supp.1) (2013)
Abstract: Reports results of descriptive study aiming to identify high-priority groups of tobacco users in Alaska, employing prevalence-based and proportion-based approaches. Finds that, while ethnicity, socio-economic status and community of residence can each be considered alone, thinking in terms of "population segments" may be more helpful for more effective tailoring of tobacco control interventions.
