In: International Journal of Circumpolar Health. (2013.), Vol. 72(supp.1) (2013)
Abstract: Examines associations between frequency of energy drink consumption and problematic alcohol use, alcohol-relates consequences, symptoms of alcohol dependence and drinking motives in ethnically diverse sample of college students in Alaska. Finds that students who report greater energy drink consumption also report greater frequency of binge drinking, greater "drinking to cope", more alcohol-related problems, and were at greater risk of having alcohol-use disorders.
