Abstract: | Outlines activities and evaluates success of Arctic Human Health Initiative (AHHI), overall goal of which was to increase awareness and visibility of human health concerns of Arctic peoples, foster health research and promote strategies that will improve health and well-being. AHHI proved to be effective exercise in identifying and publicising health research projects during 2007-08 International Polar Year. |
