| Abstract: | Reports use of Pradel mark-recapture models to estimate annual survival and population growth rates for adult Steller's eiders (Polysticta stelleri) moulting at Izembek Lagoon, Alaska Peninsula. Estimates annual adult survival rates to be 0.86 for females and 0.87 for males, and average annual population growth rates since 1998 to be approx. 1.0 for both sexes. |
