Record #204111:

Monitoring marine birds of concern in the Eastern Chukchi nearshore area (loons): final report / Joel A. Schmutz.

Title: Monitoring marine birds of concern in the Eastern Chukchi nearshore area (loons): final report / Joel A. Schmutz.
Author(s): Schmutz, Joel A.
Date: 2012.
Publisher: Anchorage, AK: United States. Department of the Interior
Abstract: Investigates potential effects of resource development on two loon species, Gavia stellata and G. admasii, from breeding grounds on Arctic Coastal Plain of Alaska. Results indicate that Chukchi Sea is used by both loon species from Arctic coastal Plain and is therefore important migratory corridor for breeding populations.
