Record #203892:

Multi-instrument study of poleward moving auroral forms during different interplanetary magnetic field conditions / Zanyang Xing, and 9 others.

Title: Multi-instrument study of poleward moving auroral forms during different interplanetary magnetic field conditions / Zanyang Xing, and 9 others.
Author(s): Xing, Zanyang.
Date: 2013.
Language: Chinese.
In: Chinese Journal of Polar Research. (2013.), Vol. 25(1) (2013)
Abstract: Investigates auroral and plasma features in polar ionosphere under different interplanetary magnetic field conditions on 22 December 2003. Uses high temporal resolution optical data from three-wavelength all-sky imagers at Yellow River Station, Svalbard, and from EISCAT Svalbard radar and SuperDARN HF radars. Observes series of poleward-moving auroral forms brightening at equatorward boundary of dayside auroral oval and then propagating poleward.
Notes:
