Abstract: Provides summary of estimated shorebird densities and population sizes for areas surveyed in Alaska, Canada, and both regions combined. Densities for all shorebirds combined were highest in Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta and next highest on Alaska Peninsula and National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska. They were lower in eastern Alaska and most of Canada but were high in Foxe Basin (including Southampton, Coats, Prince Charles, and Air Force islands)
