Abstract: | Reports results of shorebird surveys conducted on Yukon North Slope and in Mackenzie Delta in June and July from 2005 to 2008. Estimates that there are approx. 500,000 shorebirds in region. Comparison of results with studies undertaken from 1960-1990 suggest that shorebird populations in this region have remained stable. |
