Abstract: Reports results of surveys of breeding shorebirds conducted during 2001-2002 in four National Wildlife Refuges in western Alaska: Alaska Maritime, Alaska Peninsula, Yukon Delta and Selawik. Highest estimated densities were in Yukon Delta study area. Other densities were markedly lower.
