Record #203475:

Upscaling tundra CO₂ exchange from chamber to eddy covariance tower / Paul C. Stoy, and 8 others.

Title: Upscaling tundra CO₂ exchange from chamber to eddy covariance tower / Paul C. Stoy, and 8 others.
Author(s): Stoy, Paul C.
Date: 2013.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2013.), Vol. 45(2) (2013)
Abstract: Demonstrates that simple model based on chamber observations with pan-Arctic parameterisation accurately describes up to 75% of observed temporal variability of eddy covariance-measured net ecosystem exchange (NEE) of carbon during growing season in Swedish sub-Arctic tundra ecosystem. Results contrast with previous studies that found 60% discrepancy between upscaled chamber and eddy covariance NEE sums.
