Record #203472:

Modeling biophysical variables across an Arctic latitudinal gradiant using high spatial resolution remote sensing data / David M. Atkinson, Paul Treitz.

Title: Modeling biophysical variables across an Arctic latitudinal gradiant using high spatial resolution remote sensing data / David M. Atkinson, Paul Treitz.
Author(s): Atkinson, David M.
Treitz, Paul.
Date: 2013.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2013.), Vol. 45(2) (2013)
Abstract: Reports results of modelling percentage vegetation cover, above-ground biomass and soil moisture at two Arctic tundra sites using high spatial-resolution (IKONOS 4 m) normalised difference vegetation index (NDVI) values. Results indicate strong relationship between vegetation composition, structure and function and peak-season moisture regime.
