| Abstract: | Describes ocean model forced with climate reanalysis data which shows that from early 1990s increase in westerly wind stress near continental edge drove increase in Circumpolar Deep Water inflow onto ice shelf of Amundsen Sea Embayment. Change in local wind stress is related to increased sea surface temperature in central tropical Pacific. |
