Presents geomorphological mapping of frontal and lateral moraines, trimlines, cirques, and polished rocks. Reconstructs original glacier topography that deposited moraines and calculates ELAs for three phases of expansion, correlating these with values available for Balkan region and northern Greece. Attributes glacial phases to Last Glacial Maximum and Late Glacial (Oldest and Younger Dryas). Extrapolates summer temperatures at ELAs to calculate precipitation required to sustain glaciers. Argues that till found near Prespa lake shore, well below LGM-dated lowermost frontal moraine, indicates more extended glaciation phase during Middle Pleistocene.
