| Abstract: | Characterises present-day glaciers on Koryakskiy volcano, Kamchatka, based on results of fieldwork from 2008-09 and analysis of high-resolution satellite imagery. Volcano erupted in August 2009. For seven glaciers, including new crater glacier, presents length, area, altitude range and thickness. Maps glaciers, moraine complex and craters. Establishes that seven glaciers comprise total area 8.36 km², with one new, three advancing, two stationary and one degrading. |
