Особенности формирования химического состава снеговых вод на территории Ханты-Мансийского автономного округа

Title: Особенности формирования химического состава снеговых вод на территории Ханты-Мансийского автономного округа
Title, transliterated: Osobennosti formirovanii︠a︡ khimicheskogo sostava snegovykh vod na territorii Khanty-Mansiĭskogo avtonomnogo okruga / D.V. Moskovchenko, A.G. Babushkin.
Translated title: Features of formation of chemical composition of snow waters (on example of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District).
Author(s): Moskovchenko, D. V.

Language: Russian.

Abstract: Analyzes chemical composition of snow cover to determine level of atmospheric pollution caused by oil development, using example of Khanyi-Mansi Autonomous District. Snow waters have low salinity, slightly acidic or neutral reaction, and contain small amount of solids. Content of nitrate nitrogen in areas of oil production exceeds background levels by 2.8-3 times. Reports increase of petroleum hydrocarbons by 2 times in areas susceptible to flaring of associated gas. Technogenic influence of oil exploration is also evident in increasing content of heavy metals (nickel, chromium, zinc, mercury)
