Abstract: | Presents photographic evidence of apparent male snow bunting (Plectrophenax nivalis) x Lapland longspur (Calcarius lapponicus) hybrid from St Lewis Inlet, Newfoundland and Labrador. Bird was identified as male on basis of longspur nape coloration, and it appears to have head, beak, and back coloration and patterning of Lapland longspur, but chin, chest and throat, and overall appearance of snow bunting. |
