Record #202548:

Perfluorinated chemicals in meromictic lakes on the northern coast of Ellesmere Island, High Arctic Canada / Julie Veillette, and 8 others.

Title: Perfluorinated chemicals in meromictic lakes on the northern coast of Ellesmere Island, High Arctic Canada / Julie Veillette, and 8 others.
Author(s): Veillette, Julie.
Date: 2012.
In: Arctic. (2012.), Vol. 65(3) (2012)
Abstract: Investigates presence of perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) in meromictic lakes and their catchments on far northern coast of Ellesmere Island, Nunavut. Finds several PFCs in catchment snowpack, inflowing streams, lake water and aquatic food web of one lake, showing that dispersal of contaminants reaches northern limit of terrestrial High Arctic.
