Record #202489:

Dissipation of turbulent kinetic energy inferred from seagliders: an application to the eastern Nordic seas overflows / Nicholas Beiard, and 3 others.

Title: Dissipation of turbulent kinetic energy inferred from seagliders: an application to the eastern Nordic seas overflows / Nicholas Beiard, and 3 others.
Author(s): Beiard, Nicholas.
Date: 2012.
In: Journal of Physical Oceanography. (2012.), Vol. 42(12) (2012)
Abstract: Reports application of three years of Seaglider (autonomous, buoyancy-driven vehicle) observations of overflows across eastern Greenland-Scotland Ridge to map distribution of dissipation of turbulent kinetic energy on Iceland-Faroe Ridge. Compares results with microstructure survey of Faroe Bank Channel.
