Record #202415:

Using earth observation data to evaluate a land surface model in three Siberian catchments / Eleanor Blyth, and 3 others.

Title: Using earth observation data to evaluate a land surface model in three Siberian catchments / Eleanor Blyth, and 3 others.
Author(s): Blyth, Eleanor.
Date: 2012.
In: Boreal Environment Research. (2012.), Vol. 17 (2012)
Abstract: Analyses ability of JULES (Joint UK Land Environment Simulator) model to simulate physical conditions in terrestrial Arctic using satellite-based earth observation data products. Constructs catchment-average seasonal surface temperatures and snow cover over largest river basins (Ob, Lena and Yenisey) and compares with modelled values. Results indicate that earth observation data provide important information for diagnosis of problems of land-surface models.
